Lady of the Forest is portrayed on the obverse of the second coin in the series.  The Lady of the Forest faery is seen with an impressive set of opened green wings.  Her long flowing auburn hair is crowned with a wreath of leaves while a delicate leaf necklace adorns her neck.  A tiered, waist-cinched, long dress is colored in shades of green that match her wings.  This divine Fae wanders peacefully amongst the woods inspiring thoughts of tranquility.  Lady of the Forest is a very popular piece created by Amy Brown in 2011 and is seen featured on the cover of her book Visions of Faery.

                WALL FLOWER

Wall Flower is the featured art on the fifth coin in the Amy Brown Collection.

Wall Flower portrays a beautiful, shy, pouting fae standing outside against a wall.  She stands amongst flowers perhaps hoping to blend in with them as they match the floral motif that is tattooed on her arms, chest and waist.  Her upper arm is also decorated with a golden arm bangle while her lower arm has a lacing.  Wall Flower wears a cropped bodice and long skirt with her purple and orange wings protruding behind her bare shoulders.  Her long, flowing auburn hair is adorned with the same flowers seen growing along the wall.  The art piece is painted in rich autumn colors.  Wall Flower originated in 2012 and is featured in the Amy Brown book Visions of Faery II.

DISCOVERY 

Amy Brown began painting Faeries in the early 1990s. While working in a small
art gallery, her boss requested that she fill an empty frame. Amy painted a Faery –
the art piece sold immediately and so began Amy’s destiny. Soon her art was
selling at local shops and street fairs. Her passion for watercolor painting and love
of the Faery realm kept Amy immersed in creating her fantastical paintings. She
opened a website and began selling her originals online worldwide, and the

The sixth coin in the Amy Brown Collection is Dragon Secrets.  The coin features a green-winged fairy having long black tresses sprinkled with white flowers flowing down her back.  The fae wears a full-length tiered dress with a laced green bodice.  Enveloping the fairy in its wings is a large green dragon.  Encircled in private conversation, the dragon’s head is positioned alongside the fairy’s head and shoulder as though if the dragon is about to whisper a secret in her ear.  Dragon Secrets originated in 2011 and is featured in the Amy Brown book Visions of Faery.

 THE 3RD COIN IN THE AMY BROWN COLLECTION

Hand sculpted by Italian Master Luigi Badia

Premiering the series is The Red Queen. Portrayed on the obverse of the coin is
The Red Queen seen majestically strolling along with her mystical unicorn
companion. A pair of antlers emanate from the crown of her head denoting her
infinite wisdom. The unicorn and a small bird accompany The Red Queen as she
traverses the Faery Realm holding an ornate scepter, a symbol of her authority.
Large, wondrous wings rise from her back and trail behind her along with her
flowing, matching dress. The Red Queen art was created in 2016

The third coin in the series features the art piece Second Cousins.  Second Cousins portrays two young females atop a boulder in the middle of pond.  Standing on the boulder playfully blowing bubbles is a Faery, and seated next to her is a Mermaid.  The pair are quite similar in appearance, perhaps even related – the difference being that one has wings while the other has fins.  Both the Faery and the Mermaid feature lovely shades of blue, purple and green.  Cattails, water, boulders and woodland background the art.  Second Cousins was created in 2011 and appears in the Amy Brown book Visions of Faery.

 

​​​Releasing for the Fall and Halloween season, Anonymous Mint presents a special 2018 release, Amy Brown Halloween – Haunted Pumpkin Patch.  Currently Amy Brown is one of the world’s top fantasy artists and has an enormous fan following.  This Limited Edition Halloween round has been sculpted by Master Sculptor Luigi Badia and struck at Osborne Coinage, America’s oldest private mint.

 

The obverse of the round features the art piece Haunted Pumpkin Patch.  The art depicts a faery standing in a pumpkin patch.  The fae’s lavender colored hair is eerily lifted in the breeze.  She wears a tiered, corseted dress shown in shades of purple and blue that match her wings, while striped black and white stockings are worn on her legs.  Rising up out of the pumpkin patch are four small spooky ghosts that surround the faery.  Behind the faery and ghosts appears a circular, full-moon shape having pumpkin vines with leaves silhouetted throughout.  Haunted Pumpkin Patch is a fantastical Halloween painting showcasing a color palette of orange, purples, blues and black for the season.

​The fourth coin in the series features the art piece Discovery.  The artwork for Discovery is that of a stunningly gorgeous profiled faery with long white flowing locks adorned with a spray of flowers.  A small, winged, airborne dragon is seen hovering face to face with the faery.  The pair look inquisitively at each other while the faery grasps the foliage behind her.  Discovery was created in 2017 and is painted in wondrous shades of purple and green.
